@dalellll Cuba has terrible poverty and Castro is a billionaire. Communism is about grabbing power and wealth for the state and has no interest in equality or fairness, and never did.

@thomaserossi ... Sometimes, work will create something useless. (Wow! What a brilliant insight! What other amazing economic insights do you have up your sleeve? If only you had written a book, then I could cherish and learn from it!!) Are you really so freaking stupid? That fact is so obvious, it is beneath mentioning. Yes, work can be done in vain! But work that is not done in vain produces wealth. And all produced wealth is the result of somebody's work. This isnt dogma- its common sense. ffs
-
@thomaserossi ...because, quite frankly, not a single other human being coming across this thread would consider your words to be anything but nonsense, and nobody on Earth (except for you) apparently needs to have this clarified: of course there is no guarantee that *all* the products of work will create wealth, but all wealth that does exist is the creation of work. Production is the result of work. Profits exist only because somebody worked. Sometimes ...

@thomaserossi Seeing as Adam Smith, Karl Marx, and every other competent economist in the history of human civilisation agrees that "work creates wealth", I'm not sure what you think you're gaining by claiming the opposite on a YouTube thread. Go, spread your message to the people! Somehow, you've stumbled on something that all of Western science & philosophy has missed! Why waste your time here? Honestly, to respond to your comment - and I am only doing this for YOUR benefit, because...

@dalellll - You really are stupid. Work does NOT create wealth. Work can be counter-productive. You're just too indoctrinated to understand this and your Marxist indoctrination has made you stupid. You don't have the believe me. Go ahead and just start digging holes or building things. You're too stupid to figure out that there is no guarantee that EVERYTHING you create will not be useful. That's how fucking braindead you are.
China's Ghost Cities
You're too indoctrinated to watch that.

@thomaserossi I'm sorry, I'm still truggling with just how inane your comment was. The fact that "work is necessary for production" (that is almost a tautology!), "production is used to create profit" (I don't think any capitalist on Earth would dispute this), and "ergo work creates profits" (1+1=2), is the FUNDAMENTAL reason that Marxists consider capitalism *exploitation*, I can't fathom what was going on in your head when you tried to use it to debate a Marxist. Really, are you posting drunk?
-
@thomaserossi And no, "work creates wealth" is not "Marxist delusion" - it's a basic principle of economics. If Adam Smith were here, he'd slap you upside the head for being so goddamned stupid. SMITH highlighted that fact; Marx just took it to its logical conclusion.

@thomaserossi The more i read your comment, the more i realise how little economic theory you have: You don't even know what the word "wealth" means. You said: "PROFIT creates wealth" - Profit doesn't just appear out of nowhere - it is created by work. Work creates products (and no, "digging a hole" for no reason is not "productive work" *rolls eyes*), profit is drawn out of products, work creates profit. Profit is one of the forms of wealth that is created by work. This is BASIC stuff, dude.

@thomaserossi Your comment about investors makes me think you don't even understand orthodox economic theory, let alone Marxist economic theory. The "investors" under communism are the "worker's state" - by which i mean a democratically controlled state under which all large scale industry is nationalised. Investment decisions are made democratically by the people who will be impacted by those decisions, rather than by a class of destructive speculators.

@thomaserossi "Big industry" does not fail under real communism - communism is a method for managing big industry. All serious communists advocate nationalising big industry under worker's democratic control. Big industry didn't even fail under Stalinism - a gross distortion of communism. It was, in fact, developed. Russia went from being a 3RD WORLD country to landing probes on Venus.
@magratmd "Socialism leads to equal poverty, tyranny, and failure."
Stalinism & capitalism both lead to tyranny, poverty and failure. Socialism is the way out of all three of these things. Look at capitalist tyrants (like Pinochet), capitalist poverty (like the entire third world - most of the human race), capitalist failure (like all of the above). Even dictatorial Cuba does better at providing for its population than its capitalist neighbours. With real socialism, it'd do better again.

@magratmd "Why do you think The US is the leader of the world in inventions."
LOL! The US leads in *patents*, not inventions. For example, US drug companies produce thousands of new patents - and very few new drugs. The new drugs are all just minor alterations on old ones so they can make some cash off a new patent.
