Being the fourth generation of her family to be involved with motorcycles, Tracy grew up on the back of her dad's bike traveling back roads from Canada to Baha, Mexico. Her beloved Oakland Motorcycle Club has enthusiastically supported her adventures, too. But even a strong and capable team cannot prepare for everything at the Flats. Problems arose to test Tracy and her team in 2010. But with the help, ingenuity, and kindness of her team and other racers Tracy got her best speed of 196.244 mph. Team Tracy was the honored recipient of the Team Spirit award presented by the Buell Brothers and Sisters. So if you're riding out west and see the big orange trailer housing Tracy's Hayabusa, take note of the slogan on the side "Never accept limits, go beyond them." It perfectly captures both Team Tracy's spirit and the spirit of the BUB Motorcycle Speed Trials event. See you there!

  • I am so proud to be a member of the Oakland Motorcycle Club. The Norris/Snyder Family are just wonderful, super people! I so much appreciate the way Tracy Snyder shares her enthusiasm with our club by including anyone who would like to participate and emphasizing that "It takes a team to make a dream". Thanks for the fun, Tracy and good luck to Team Tracy at Bonneville this year! Whoot whoot!!

  • What a great story Tracy and Lou!

  • What a great story Tracy and Lou!

  • SO glad I'm too broke to compete...

  • What a great story!!!!!

  • What a great story ! Again hearing from Tracy like so many others about the comradery of the Land Speed Community. When a racer is having problems, even a competitor in their class will help out, knowing that the help may even get their own record beat. How red blooded American is that !

Great story Lou, thanks for sharing.
