Me pulling a wheelie on my ZL 500. I came up to the drift and hammered on the trottle. it pulled the front end off pretty well.

  • is it a performance sled or just sport

  • its just sport. the motor is all stock. i figured i will just buy a faster sled like a f7 rather than stick money in this one for performance parts. haha

  • Ok. Well I guess even still some sleds don't have high engaging clutches. Sleds like my dads 2001 Mountain Cat 1000 Triple engage at like 2500rpm, so as long as you don't notice anything weird like clunking or major slippage your probably fine.

  • ski doo!

  • skidoo!

  • @36crazyfists63 personally, i don't like the f series. they're a little too heavy and bulky. they're not good for climbing or carving. good on the trail, though.

  • @cfire600 yup ive never rode a crossfire but ive ridden a f7 there fast but i like my xcsp 600 better for some reason. it cornered a lot better then the f7 did

  • @36crazyfists63 and the crossfires are also longer sleds. also, less track pressure due to a longer track, so less traction. this thing friggin cooks, though! haha. I can pick the skis about 10-12" off the ground and it just sticks, but i can carry them for a looooooong way.

  • @cfire600 the zls do better wheelies because of the suspension too crossfires stay on the ground better

  • i got one its a nice sled it leaves at 5000 rpm its a beast

  • i had a 2000 ZL500. They're pretty nice sleds. I upgraded to an 09 Cfire600 and i love the ride, but it wont pick the skis near as well as the ZL. 121 1.5" paddles vs 141 1.25" paddles, a little less traction.

  • Meh the sleds now my little bros im buying new one next year,
