If a footage is shaky and blurred skeptics will say it is too low in quality and debunk it. convenient.. every time someone uses advanced equipment and surveillance to try to "catch" these things in the act, its inevitably poorly handled, blurry, doesn't really show anything, etc.

What does publishing a paper and having it verified by other people have to do with maintaining dogmas? Its simply a tool to wash out crap because theres alot of crap, alot of crazy ideas. There needs to be some way to distinguish them from good ideas. Verification by unbiased professionals is a good way to do so.
