In the middle of the summer most trout fishermen in Virginia hang up their trout rods and wait for cooler weather in the fall. What most don't know is that THE BEST dry fly action occurs on our spring creeks when the terrestrial season is in full swing. Japanese beetles coat the streamside vegetation and the overhanging sycamore leaves. These insects provide a huge food source for fish in these trophy waters. When the action is hot it can't be beat. Beetlemania shows footage from just a few days of some of the best action an angler can find in the heat of the summer.
