Mr. Robert Calvin Bland A.K.A. Bobby "Blue" Bland is a 1992 inductee into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame who has charted over 70 times in his career....He is also one of the singers that sang at the funeral of Sam Cooke. Several of his song have been covered and are now considered standards. Bobby "Blue" Bland is a lot of things, but I assure you "regional" is not one of them.
