In a speech at Columbia Business School on February 13, Francois Bourguignon, director of the Paris School of Economics and former chief economist of the World Bank, says that while some progress has been made toward achieving the Millennium Development Goals, most developing countries will fall short of meeting the targets.

Co-sponsored by the Committee on Global Thought and the Department of Economics.
