San Francisco's Cable Cars (in HD)

San Francisco's cable car system is the world's last and is an icon of San Francisco, California. Cable cars operate on two routes from downtown near Union Square to Fisherman's Wharf, and a third route along California Street. Man-powered turntables turn the cable cars around at the two ends. The Cable Car Museum contains galleries which allow the visitor to overlook the main power house.

Remember that for over a hundred years wheeelchair-using disabled people have not been able to use the cable cars nor view the city from the seats therein; it is great to know that nowadays such folk are considered by the city planners and other national guardians.

I happen to like the light burning of wood smell that happens on occasions when traveling.
