"Obama - are you the new american zeitgeist" ? - from the global community

Zeitgeist:

I was asked to edit this video that is a vision that comes from three londoners - just ordinary people.

who were moved by the election of Barack Obama to write this song and record it,

then gathered their family members together for a video shoot - we supplemented this footage by going out onto the streets of Brixton and asked people if they could say one word to Obama, what it would be. They then wrote it on a piece of paper and we filmed them.

It was a race to the finishing line to get it finished in time for the inauguration 4 days and nights and we completed just before Obama took his oath

In so-called democracies, (decieved or not) the people are supposedly empowered through the beliefs they invest in a nominated representative who is suppose to translate their wishes into the hard currency of policies that delivers practical benefits to their self-interests. As one commentator has indicated, all Presidents are apparitions! The thing is most people believe in ghosts, even those who see behind curtains.

People were idiots to think Obama was a man of hte people, or a man of change. Even during his campaign he was spewing a typical class-warfare agenda of "tax the rich, feed the poor", and openly supported continuing war with Afghanistan and even hinted at it being a "good war".
