For your information he was not abanded, it is Hawaiian tradition that the grandparents raise the grandchildren. Both his parents were always in his life.
To HaYan808Boi: I was told that he was Hawaiian/German. His mother being pure Hawaiian and his father being pure German. The abandon part is news to me, too. I've seen his interviews and he's always talking about his mom and his grandmother. I know he said that he spent a lot of time with his grandma and that it was custom for the grandchildren to grow up with "Tutu". He didn't make it sound like he was abandon at all. Not trying to diss your comment, just wondering where your info came from.
Oh my... I-I'm struck by the BEAUTY of Keali'i Reichel's voice and music! He's worth listening too! How about other Hawaiian speaking Artists? Any other great artists like him?
