This is a video I made after watching Dru918's rifle camouflage video. I went and got some burlap at JoAnn fabric and dyed some green, and then left some tan, because I play in a sand/woodland environment, so I need green and tan. I did two square knots to keep the pieces on, and I threaded the burlap into strings which I wadded together and tied on the gun. As I said in the video, I would suggest getting high profile rails, because I have the medium profile ones, and my scope is a little foggy because of the burlap on top, but it is an easy fix. If you have any questions on airsoft, or my videos, feel free to leave a comment or email me at walker.loeffler@gmail.com. Please subscribe! (If you have any ideas for videos, email me. Thanks!

Here is exactly how to make it...

so how to do mine:
first you need to get burlap, long pieces of it, not the really tight threaded one, but the more loose kind that you can see easily through. then you unthread the burlap and put the strings in piles . if you want to, you can spray paint the whole piece of burlap first then unthread it. that leaves spots where it was overlapping, but it can add to your camo. so cut the long strings of burlap into piles of about as thick as your thumb, and cut them into pieces that should vary from 1 ft. to 2 feet. Burlap is usually tan, so if you spray paint the actual pieces of burlap green, so the strings are tan dotted with green and leave the other pieces tan, that will give you good camo in a woodland/ dune area like i play in. heres where i play airsoft

you may want to dye your burlap as that will give the whole clump of burlap that color and not have spots like spray painting.
so now that you have as much burlap as you need to cover your gun, you need to take the scope off. So the way you put the burlap on my way is start in front of the mag and do double square knots.
these are what you do when you are tying your shoe. you take the burlap, and having the knot on the top side of the gun, and so holding the whole clump of burlap in your hand like one string, you take one over and under and the other under and over. do that twice and they are sure to stay on. You do this for the whole gun. the video of the l96 camo , the first one, dru shows you how to put that burlap on. do that twice with my burlap and you should be fine. also put a 5 inch long by1.5 inch wide piece of tightly threaded burlap like sand bags are made out of over or around the orange tip so that by the side you cant see it, but at the front you can see it, but there is a shadow over it and it is hard to see. put a rubber band on it to secure it.if you have any more questions ask me.
Walkman
P.S. you want high profile scope rings so that the bottom of the scope when zoomed all the way out is foggy at the bottom because of the camo covering the top of the gun.

  • @AwesomeMegaBalls Lol, also known as Operation Gothic Serpent as a whole, or Operation Irene, or the Battle of Mogadishu, or for all the noobs out there "That Blackhawk Down Event thing". I also have a very good friend who fought there. Very tragic battle, despite the amount of prisoners apprehended, and the deaths of the somalis compared to that of the U.S. Forces.

  • @AwesomeMegaBalls Failed? So...not qualified or what?

And paintball I can see, but rubber bullets I know are used only for the more intense groups in the military, such as the SEALS, considering without body armor they can do some serious damage, as they are also largely used for riot control.

  • @Walkman1OldSchool1

And OF COURSE I've heard of "The Battle of the Black Sea", I have an old school teacher/ friend that fought there and in Operation Desert Shield/ Desert Storm.

I won't be some close-minded ignorant person, but this is news to me. But the Marines, Navy, Army, Navy Seals, Coast Guard, and the (National Guard maybe) train with paint ball, rubber bullets, and this thing called "Simunition" (The Air Force I don't know, I have few friends and family there). I have trained (and failed) with most branches of the U.S. Military.

  • @AwesomeMegaBalls *6mm. Yes they do. Do you see any veterans playing paintball? no. Do you see any playing airsoft? Yes, a ton. If you've ever heard of this event called operation gothic serpent where two UH-60 blackhawk helicopters were shot down, Sgt Eversmann and Colonel McKnight, the leader of the convoy both are the managers and owners of an airsoft field where they hold national events every year for other vets. And uh DERP course I have real guns. Carry On child.

  • @Walkman1OldSchool1

Does the United States Military train with 1mm plastic balls? Fuck no. They use rubber bullets and paintball guns, this is for pussies and people who waste there money...

Buy a real fucking gun you children. Good day.

  • @AwesomeMegaBalls haha what a funny kid. Too bad you don't know what real milsim airsoft is cuz all anyone knows is backyard airsoft. Ignorance is bliss I suppose.

  • Really intense air soft player? Fag...
