Set to Mira's song "Cayman," this is a slide show featuring my beloved Sinead O'Kitty, who shared 10 years and many life lessons with me. For more information about the band Mira: www.mira.nu

  • I just had my first good cry in years. Sobbing, snot bubbles, the whole thing. Thank you so much.

  • @Sacrilegium I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. It's been two years, and I still cry every time I see it, too.

  • I'm very sorry your cat died. Mine died a few months ago and I still feel guilty that I wasn't the best owner I should have been. A few weeks after her death I was listening to this song and in the middle of it I rememberd it was a song about cats. You can imagine my reaction after that, I was a mess. I cry almost everytime I hear this song.

  • I cry every time I hear that song, too. And even now I still get a twinge of guilt--like maybe I could have done something different and she wouldn't have died. As time goes by, the pain eases, but every once in a while it comes back in waves.

  • My Cinder died in December of 2008 after 12 years - I met him when he was 2 days old and he is still a part of my heart. This song never fails to remind me of him - he was also a black cat.
