There are tons of bomber placements up the cliff or you can drop a long anchor rope from trees at top of cliff.
I remember one year a hawk had a nest right above the overhang so we could not disturb her.

Geez, I'm getting to be a better and better climber as I age ! !
We rated this 5.8 back in the late 70s and early 80s.
Is the stump of that tree we cut off still in the way of lead falls ?

Using a gri gri for toprope solo is a commonly used safe practice although toprope soloing is not what the device was made for...
I've used the Soloist and the Silent partner for lead and aid solos, but definitely prefer the gri gri for toprope soloing.
