Question: Are you for or against the Sunrise power link, particularly going down the center of Alpine Blvd?

In a forum moderated by former local news anchor Vic Salazar and hosted by the San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce, candidates from both parties for the 77th Assembly and 36th Senate seats came together to discuss the issues and how they would handle things if voters send them to Sacramento.

The forum was hosted at an Elks Club lodge in El Cajon.

Paul Clay(D) Greg Stephens (R) and Jeff Stone(R) for the 36th Senate seat now held by Republican Dennis Hollingsworth

Christine Rubin (R), Bill Wells (R) and Brian Jones will run against each other to decide who faces Mark Hanson in the general election for the 77th assembly seat now held by Republican Joel Anderson.
