For all of you people saying the F-22's maneuverability is less than the Su-37's, you are simply looking at the 37's (and other sukhoi's) maneuverability in air shows. When they're carrying thousands of pounds of missiles, the F-22's superior thrust to weight ratio will give it a dominant edge over the Su-(x) aircraft.

US Military always underestimates their hardware when it comes to specifications in tanks/jets/helicopters you name it. We sell these to other nations but the versions we have are always "heavily modded" with much different electronics and weaponry to remain superior. They have been doing this for decades and the f22 is no different

actually it is superior to anything until about 30years. the reason i know that is because russia and england is going to take taht long to get somthing either equal or somthing close but by then there will be a new F-22 that will kick the F-22a's ass

i dont hav hte goverment telling me that i take what it has done so faar and put it together. it is undeafeted in a/a combat unlike the typhoon and so on. (for simulated combat in actuall flight)

I know. I was being an idiot. I was simply trying to highlight the fact that not everything we are told by the US government, indeed any government is correct.

For example, everyone says the Raptor is superior to every other aircraft cos that's what we've been told. Doesn't necessarily mean that that is correct.

yea from the footage Ive seen I'd say that an american f22 raptor could take down just about any other nations jet fighter just based on maneuverability alone without even bringing firepower into the equation, the su-37 is a step up for the people flying it but, as its been majority of the time through history, the USA maintains air supremacy
