A Discussion with Congressman Gene Green

One of the most powerful parts of our government is the United States Congress. The members of this body write the laws under which we live. However, often we don't get the time to get to know our congressmen. World Energy decided to take the time to visit one-on-one with our congressional leaders. In this 30 minute interview we spend some time with the Honorable Gene Green, congressman from the 29th district of Texas. The congressman spends time talking from his perspective as an "oil patch democrat" and explains that many of his policies match up very well with his republican counter parts. He also expresses that we need to "educate" the leadership in Congress that the United States citizenry wants something done about energy and developing our domestic resources. In addition he expresses a strong desire to secure our future, increase domestic resources of hydrocarbons and work on renewable resources going forward.
