Message to Kevie's Fans - 12/28/11

Hi Folks Beanie and Kevie here to vent about a certain party who has stolen our copyrighted video by attaching a link to their channel. The video is "Kevie Sings A Pretty Song" and just below the number of viewers is an "as seen on" link. We did not give these people permission to link to any of our videos and we have no idea who they are. I have contacted Youtube back on Nov. 16th and received the standard "we'll look into it" response. However if I use a copyrighted song as background music, you better believe that Youtube would be all over it. Especially if it's owned by Sony or another big corporation. However our video is still being unresolved and we will continue to contact Youtube until this issue is resolved. Thanks for watching!

@AranScathProductions I really sucks yet if you were SONY or another big corporation, Youtube would be all over the offenders. Grrrr!!! Still you should report the idiots to Youtube anyway and hope that they remove it.

@ThirteenHealth Thanks Dear, I may have to remove the original since I have an edited version already uploaded. I'd lose the count, the video responses, etc. from the first one though but it might have to come down to that.

checked it out... sent me to youtube page linking it to a russian blog site of some kind and for some reason there's 2 copies of the video "Kevie sings a pretty song"

@SpiritWhiteFox2 Ya know...I was trying to remember something about copyrights & I couldn't exactly remember what it said about "fair use." So I word searched "fair use law" & found the page on this particular doctrine at copyright(dot)gov. Someone using your stuff can be acceptable as "fair use" under the right circumstances, just as you using someone's music in the background. Both are legal if done according to the fair use law. Word search "fair use" & find the same page I read.
