This is a demo of a Vintage Marshall Guv'nor. Some believe this pedal is the best overdrive/distortion pedal. I've tried to demonstrate the pedals flexibilti as much as possible in this video.

what guitar did you use to record this video? what position? bridge or other, is a single coil o humbeker? and what aplifier?, thanks for show the positions of the gain trble bass and middle is very important

Is it an Overdrive or distortion? Is it more like a Boss yellow overdrive, or boss orange distortion?

yeah .. i ran a boss sd-1 to boost in front of it in college (circa 1995) and because of all the EQing you could get serious 'real' sounding grind out of just about any clean amp.. it even has the LED trick forclipping like marshalls around this time (2550, etc). I remember playing through my roomates small .. probably $50... amp... and it really did the trick just fine to solo with any hard rock / metal CD at the time. just got it back from a friend after a lot of years and still surprises me
