A beautiful movie: Milan (meaning "meeting" or "encounter")

The woman has lost her husband, hence her white clothes. She cannot sleep because of her grief. Her faithful friend, a poor boatman, who is also in love with her, cannot bear to see her in so much pain, sings a prayer in the form of a lullaby. In the song he offers to take on her pain so that she can finally have some peace. Of course, it is really a love song, the song of a man who desperately wants to comfort and protect his beloved.

This song is sooo heart touching and beautifully sung that I put my disk walkman in `repeat mode' listening it in all the flight and walks during my vacation.! I still don't know the magnetic attraction of this song but the joy of hearing it keeps me to this song in the REPEAT MODE.!!I don't know its meaning fully even today but I know for sure that it is a SONG OF MY KIND.!!(Old fashined song may be but divine and musical ecstasy fills the heart.!! This simple song gives exactly that to me!!)

u are obviously biased. I mean only by saying Sonu is a upgraded version of rafi sahab, u have proven that u dont know anything about Bollywood Music, and let me give you one adivice! Never Tell Sonu jee that he is an upgraded version of Rafi sahab, Never tell Sonu he is better than Legends, otherwise he will slap you in ur face, i dont think u want that to happen right?

@redress007 UPGRADED VERSION OF RAFI AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA­HAHHAHAHAAH ROFLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL BEYOND D REACH OF MUKESH LOOOOOOOOOOOL OMFG U are really brain washed... Sonu is no where near mukesh and Rafi dear, And that about sonu being classical trained.. that's just very LOL please Listen to Sonu's tribute to Mukesh in sa re ga ma pa.. He could not match mukesh's low notes in that song.. It was terrible for sonu... He is a great singer but please.. no where near Legends.

@arzaadmirza Dear..Mukesh can in no way be compared to sonu niigaam..rafi sahab ki baat alag hai..he is sonu's inspiration..But judge urself..sonu jus can sing anything any genre..in any voice..and almost in any regional language and also in english can act mimic compose dance ,has sung in 54 voices for tees maar khan..all dese activities are far beyond d reach of mukesh and also of rafi sahab..he is d upgraded version of Rafi..remember his album CLASSICALLY MILD??ok

That CopyCat his version is NOWHERE near the original LOL, Sonu is a good singer indeed but he could never Reach the Legend Level of Rafi Sahab Mukesh Jee or Kishore Da, I listend his version he is shouting, and really doesn't match Mukesh Jee's original =)
