I don't understand why everyone hates Tidus.

Compared to COUNTLESS other characters in the franchise, he is an improvement, and its not like you can complain about his voice. This was the first FF to use voice acting.

I personally prefer him and Auron over Cloud and Sephiroth, and yes, I WENT THERE.

Cloud is a cliche emo kid with a big sword, as compared to Auron who has the sword, as well as an INTERESTING STORY TO TELL.

Sephiroth is another cliche rival enmy with a big sword, not much to say.

AT LAST FF10, can I download this game for PSN? After ff7 this is the final fantasy i like the most not the later games like ff12 or ff13, they aren't bad just not as good as ff7 ff10 or even ff9. i'll watch this till the very end

did anyone else notice that ps2 games are way much better than ps3 games, well if they were online then it would be 1 milion times better like fatal frame 2 or 3, candy royalty, charlie and the chocolate factory, final fantasy 12/XII

Sorry. I was just never fond of the appearance of any final fantasy character after 9. At least Tidus doesn't look like Hope(not sure if that's the right person.)

@XvWBlink182WvX More over, Cloud from FF7 had a COMPLETE MENTAL BREAKDOWN because he figured out he was an ANDROID.

It's NOT that bad.

He even gurgles and is hospitalized for a portion of the game because he is incapable of doing anything due to his mental state.

I don't recall Tidus being THAT much of a pussy.

Get over it. Think about this.

Tidus figures out 2/3's of the way through that he is a dream... NONEXISTANT.

He NEVER crys over that. Want to know why? Because he MATURED as the game proceeded, which not many people take notice on. He has to let go of everything he had come to love, and didn't shed ONE tear because of his impending fate. Over his lost father, yes, but not because of his awaiting demise.

That makes him a pussy?

The first Final Fantasy game I got was the sequel to this game which is kinda a fail lol. XD But I've finally decided to watch the gameplay of this game so everything makes sense. =3
