  • Song name? *.*

  • @kaindrg i mean compared to all lamellar, not just leather, i think its slightly better against blunt trauma, but but lamellar has an issue in that the smaller the plate, the easier to damage, plates start getting strong once there becomes les bigger ones, its why roman armour is superiour to scale armour, i assume you know the diff between lamellar and scale? but maille is essentially a chain mesh, and is always combined with padding underneath, and its very strong look up myarmoury on maille

  • @elgostine what abut scale iron/steel lemallar

  • greetings from the miklagaard garrison of varangians in Sydney australia, how many members do you have?

  • @kaindrg they didnt. the varangians are a special breed of 'viking' called the rus, (which as the name suggests lived in northwest russia), that were recruited in a semi mercenary fashion to safeguard the byzantine emporer which

being more eastern they were exposed to the use of lamellar armour. as well as adopting byzantine technology and armour more and more as time went on, their helms were also more asiastic, partly resembling turkish/ asian helms.

maille will protect youalot better btw

  • Hon Var Varangoi! Nice vid man...
