i sure it is, assuming the area you are welding isn't near the fuel tank or fuel lines.
it's still probably best not to weld on a fueled vehicle if at all possible.
Is it safe to weld on a car while the fuel tank is still attached???

I just bought a Kaymar dual position rear bar.
It cost about 4000 dollars, i just forget how much. And all i had to do was pay someone to do it. Easy, no sweat.
And my rear bar is ADR approved.
And yes, i got it from ARB...
My rear bar looks professional.
Sometimes it's just easier to pay someone to do it. It's 50 dollars worth of steel but i didn't have to get dirty and worry about building it myself.
