  • is this made to be funny

  • @TheIvanradovanovic it's not made to be funny. We were doing as best we could. Over the whole series and summer we improved quite a bit. Don't be afraid to laugh at us though, there is no shame in trying your hardest at something new.

    2:40 PERFECT ROLL !

I hope you didn't take my comments as malicious or rude. I just want to help, since I'm a traceur.

[just seen some sequences from Vol. 8, you guys are getting good :) ]

  • @bog0hitman47 It's all good man. We went running together one day a week for a few months... that was a few years ago now. It started out as a joke, but we ended up really loving it.

  • how you got accepted to do a masters in computer science when your BA was in Sociology??

  • this is not so hard. Just get 2-3 years of work experience as a programmer first!

  • 30 is hardly old, but i give you credit. for a half decent vid

  • (III) Pause at 1:51. That's a muscle-up on the wall. From there, just go into a crane (kick a leg up onto the wall), then bring the other leg too. You might also want to youtube "parkour QM" (quadrupedal movement), or "parkour cat balance" - if's more efficient than 1:54.

Another good landing - 1:57. The jump at 2:02 should have been landed in a roll. The speed of the roll comes from the inertia from the fall, you hit the ground and change the direction of the force from horizontal to vertical.

  • (II)

At 0:59, you need to absorb some energy with your leg muscles, contract the muscles when you land so your knees don't bend over 90*. If your knees bend over 90*, you'll damage them. (1:24 good landing)

At 1:04, try to do a muscle-up on the wall, rather than supporting your weight on your forearms. From the muscle-up you can get into a crane position (youtube "parkour crane"), from there just bring the other leg up on the wall. That way you'll be standing on top of the wall in 2-3 seconds.

  • (I)

    Some tips:

In the first part you guys didn't use enough energy to do those vaults. You need more inertia for what you were trying to do. You need to either run faster when approaching the obstacle, or push harder in your legs and arms to get momentum.

After the first minute, you got better, because you used more energy to vault the rail.

At 0:38 - you're gonna get your arms broken if you roll like that. You absorbed the fall with your arms; the arms should only guide your roll.
