That was a nice looking consist. Neat seeing the classic Budd RDCs.
-
These Buds were used on a failed test run in Ottawa looking at the possibility of using our buds in the corridor.
-
6202 and 6130 were up in ottawa may 24/26 doing some sort of tests looks like you caught them inroute from the eastcoast
-
The first Budd would likey be 6148. Sent to IRSI in Moncton from Vancouver island for repairs. Would have been brought by CN to Halifax, attached to the back of 14 for the trip west. The second one is an IRSI demo unit, wearing VIA Rail markings. I can't remember what it actually completely is, but I know it's been entirely refurbished.
-
Not sure! I think they were going for some kind of demo near Ottawa.

just use wikkipedia it tells part of the story!

Ahh, right. I thought they looked a bit pommy. They look very similar to Coaches on a HST.
Cheers anyway :-)
I didn't know VIA also has a cab car like GO Transit.

@EvaristeWK It is not a Cab Car, it is 2 Budd RDC self propelled cars in tow to another destination.

I caught them going and you caught them returning! Probably went for a repair? It almost looks like the seats have been removed in some of the pictures?
