A timelapse video shot from my back porch as the March 23rd snowstorm rolled through Colorado.
Information about the video:
* The temperature started out somewhere around 60, and ended close to 20.
* All those critters on the opposite side of my yard fence are prairie-dogs, and they are little bastards who love digging under the fence into my garden. I only mention this because I recently discovered that even people living in states right next to mine have never heard of these creatures before, and out here they are as common as rabbits.
* The hailstorm that rolls across the park produced shooter-marble-sized hail.
* After the hailstorm, we got about two hours worth of freezing rain.
* You can see reflections of the clouds moving across the sky in the puddles on my porch.
* My squirrel buddy hangs out in the tree on the left side of the screen from :05 to :10, and on the tree branch on the right side of the screen around :35.
* The gold-and-black blob on the left of the screen around 1:42 is me, out back knocking snow off of the stupid satellite dish. Watch how quickly my footprints fill up with snow.
* That flickering light in the lower right side of the screen is from when someone goes into the kitchen and turns on the light for a few moments
* I have no idea what that bright light is around 4:14, but it only showed up for 1 frame the entire night. Someone's motion detector going off as they were leaving for work perhaps?
* Sunrise is around 4:20 in the video (cheers, Ents!). Damn, it gets blue!
* I put the start of the video at the very end so you can see just how much snow fell; it's kind of a shock when you see it that immediately, instead of accumulating over a 5 minute period.

* Started shooting around 2:30PM on Tuesday, and finished shooting around 8 or 9AM on Wednesday. 18 hours, approx.
* Changed batteries 4 times.

* Stitched together at various frame rates; daytime scenes were between 3fps - 12fps, and nighttime scenes were all the way up to 30fps.
