  • I just have one question, I am just a hobby painter, I am interested in buying a tablet, what big difference does it make if I buy Wacom Bamboo instead of Wacom Intuos3 tablets? All I want is to paint in photoshop freely.......

  • Well, a buddy of mine is an illustrator, and he didn't like the Bamboo. I lent him my Intous3 and he tells me it's WAY better.

  • isnt it very hard to use that? cuz on the tablet itself u cant see wat u r drawing. or does it just become like a sixth sense?

cuz i am getting a tablet for christmas and i am super exited and i am pretty sure i want the "Wacom Intuos 3"

if there are any better ones can u inform me please

    thanks !

  • Your best option would be a Cintiq model, but they start at around $1000 for the 12" version.

Do you watch your mouse when you use it? Probably not, and this is the same thing. I found not looking at my pen became natural pretty quickly.

  • Thanks!

but what does the Cintiq model have to offer that the intous3 doesn't???

  • The drawing surface has an LCD under it. It's like a tablet computer, it's both a screen and a pen tablet. Just search for Wacom Cintiq.

intuos3 tablets are much better quality than bamboo, which are good though but intuos3 feel way better. i just switched from a bamboo to a intuos3 and i love it :D !!

  • Just a question. I have heard different stories on how long an intuos3 pen nib lasts. How long do your nibs last? I want to buy one, but I can't afford to buy new nibs every month like my bamboo tablet now.

  • lol... You got me there.. I dont look at my mouse when Im using it. How many weeks before you get used to it?

  • ughhh... i hate the side buttons. can someone teach me how to disable them or is there a pen without them!? i keep clicking them when I draw.

  • I have a general question...if your tablet represents the screen area, when you zoom in, is it the same area? So only what's on the screen corresponds to the tablet (eg you're not making much wider strokes when zoomed in). It didn't look like it.

  • @gifventje well all you need is to train on your drawing skills =]

  • Why won't my mouse or pen show up in the tools list in the control panel? I have the latest driver and all I can do is use the side buttons.

  • the intuos looks good but might be out of my price range a bit..

the bamboo fun? know anything about it? cheaper but i dont know about quality

  • The video shows A6 which is really small.

The A4 is the usual size you get used to with paper but in case of the sides, its bigger, so you could get space problems on your table.

I reccomend A5 (which should be medium if there a no numbers)

  • whta is the price mm the Tableta Wacom Intuos 3???
