The Battlefield 3 full trailer was released and I thought it was an appropriate time to talk about quick scoping in Battlefield 3. I give some of my thoughts on sniping and some of my hopes for the upcoming title. Let me know what you guys think by leaving a comment and rate the video. The gameplay is some bfbc2 sniper action and I'm on defense for rush.

quickscoping isn't an issue in bfbc2 because of bullet drop, leading targets. and the fact that it is 2 body shots at range.

I think they nailed sniping right on the head in bfbc2. The only thing that would be nice is if the different bolt actions weren't just reskins with different reload times.

Quick scoping is not the problem. The problem is the rate of fire of the snpier rifles. A one shoot kill rifle should have a slow rate of fire. If the rifle allows the player to spam bullets, then the rilfe should not be one shoot. For those that argue that a sniper should just pull out his pistol for close range combat, I argue back "why don't you pull out your pistol?" I will only pull out my pistol when I am out of ammo, a last resort. I will not handicap myself further so you can kill me

quickscopes kill any game. bf is based on realism search youtube for barrett .50 cal fired while standing then tell me qs has a place in bf. leave qs in c.o.d. where it belongs.

@PlatinumPerfections Same here, in cod4 sniping took skill but in mw2 everyone does it and SnD matches which I only play, are awful n full of pretend quickscopers and n00tubes, im just gnnna save my mw3 money and get fifa 12, I think BF3 is gnna take alot of my time on video games this year lol.

The montage community and quickscoping is the only reason i play first person shooters so yes, im for it. Also everyone is talking about realism, dont forget that this is a GAME if you want realism join the military, im going in to the military (Air Force) for some of that reason and also I just want to serve my country, but when I get home I would want to play something completly UNrealistic.
