This is a much better game than it looks on paper. This was a 5-7 Illini team much better than any typical 5-7 team. Illinois took Ohio State and Penn State down to the wire and beat Wisconsin and hammered Minnesota. So this was a great win for Michigan despite Illinois being a team with a losing season.

@cdzmo1972 Weird, I've heard the complete opposite from a lot of people. Maybe it's changed or maybe you got unlucky with who you sat near.

Oh cool, I was at this game. Drove up from St.L in 2000 and 2002 to go to those games. Illinois fans are some of the most classless I have ever encountered.
