dude a 6 string bass is just a 4 string bass with a thicker string at the top and a thinner string at the bottom, and personally I think he did an excellent job at it.

@acid8videos - just takes a bit of practice mate. Myself, I'm completely self-taught (except for high school music). And though I'm content with how I am as a bassist, there's still a ways to go yet!
