Interesting fact, in the non-US version of the NES game, you are fighting a neo-Nazi army and the main villian is a revived Hitler. For the US release, we get Master-D, looks unchanged. :P

Really, I don't feel it sounds too bad. It definitely is going somewhere though! Kind of messy, yes. It sounded like you tried to beat match, but modifying tempo of one of both tracks may help (if you have the hardware or software to do so).
