  • I like Porter tomatoes. Even in drought conditions, these Texas born tomatoes do produce.

  • i know this is an older video, but questions:

    this summer i had no tomatoes. all my flowers wilted... My local nursery sales lady said this was a common problem because of the heat we had (2011). Are there any varieties that will perform better in high heat? or are there any strategies for heat related issues that i can try for 2012? 2010, i had lots of cherry tomatoes planted near the same location, but closer to my homes brick wall. this year i used a raised bed with dino dirt frm denton.

  • You can grow tomatoes in buckets and lots of other big contianers....
