Braided Scarf Hair Tutorial

I saw Michelle Phan sporting this hairstyle in her recent videos and just had to try it out. It's super cute and unique! Perfect for any occasion...dress it up or down with the scarf of your choice. :)

Just to make clear, I am not trying to be Michelle. She makes videos to inspire others and that's exactly what happened when I saw this hairstyle!

@Jade161588 Hmm. Maybe curl or crimp your hair first to give it some texture to help keep the scarf in place. I really do think bobby pins would help though, so maybe opt for a darker or patterned scarf next time.  Hope that helps. :)

I tried this and I don't know if it's the shape of my head but the scarf slides back on the side that the braid isn't on and it looks really silly on my head. I thought of putting a bobby pin on it but with a light scarf, it's really obvious. Any ideas on how to keep the scarf on my head?
