@clhays57 You're right! I still prefer the original Keith Whitley, do you mind? But this does no real justice to Krauss. I suspected as much when I heard the fake duet between them, stated that as well, I'm sure. I often prefer the female voice - not always - but Whitley was a great talent and his song sounds authentic. Comparing these versions is way beyond me. To different.

@shcoke2 I still prefer the original version, by Keith Whitley. Both country. I was surprised that RK came close, until I realized it was mostly money and technology. Someone just pointed out to me that this is no great recording, AK did it way better than here, even live. True enough.

@clhays57 I believe you, that is the problem with YT. Sometimes you hear things and know it's a lousy recording, sometimes you hear studioversions and know the person can't do it live. As is said, the faked Keith and Allisson version is great. Of course, she can. There is great talent,also an unnecessary shyness

@0rbc4st Ear and truth ? I don't like Keating ,his studioversion is OK. Live? No way. I prefer the original to this, but Keith and Allisson made a version together that I perhaps prefer. My feeling, she is better than she thinks. I also think she's a good musician. I would like to hear more self confidence. My opinion, you are entitled to yours and I may well be mistaken. If so, she is to sweet and hesistant for my taste. Not here, though.
