its very telling that you must argue your position by lying about what prop 8 was.
equality exists. there is no person that one man can marry that another man cannot. ie, the rules are equal. marriage law can be disappointing for some who may want to marry more than one person, a relative, or a member of the same sex, yes but disappointment is not the same as inequality.
society has a right to define words and NO on 8 wanted to remove that right.

Prop 8= religious freedom.........please, that what the first amendment grants everyone in this country.......but recent polls show that 51% now approve of same sex marriage, seeing the light really does give you another outlook on life as we know it.
