  • Instantly, one falls in love with this spirited woman. Her countenance is truly royal. Her joy in the performance shines through. She has a superb backing band and I can only imagine that her fellow musicians realize that they are performing with a truly historic performer.

I am her fan for life.

  • I would love to have the opportunity to compliment her in person. Superb.

  • I love this - what an up lifting song! Her slower version from 'Later with Jools Holland' is also brilliant :)

  • Good to start the day with :)

Fatoumata has been singing with Cheick Tidiane Seck, Youssou N’Dour, Oumou Sangaré, Rokia Traoré en Angelique Kidjo.

Started out as an actress and played in numerous prize winning films and musicals.Became famous for her role as a princess in tv comedy Karaba. When she met Sanagaré and could joint the project Red from Dee Dee Bridgewater, she started her career as a singer. Created her own sound: Wassoulou folk mixed with jazz and blues..Great!
