Agnes Moorehead on Password Day 1, part 1

Phenomenal actress Agnes Moorehead appeared on Password in April 1967 along with Broadway actor Barry Nelson. This first day broadcast on Monday, April 24, 1967 on CBS.

Agnes is best known as Endora from "Bewitched" and is wearing a diamond starburst brooch she wore many times on "Bewitched" and that she left in her will to co-star Elizabeth Montgomery.

@Clayton19651 Agnes had the most distinctive and beautiful cultured voice. Instantly recognisable. She did lots and lots of radio and voice work over the years. I'm a bit ashamed to admit, it for all of her wonderful classic roles, but I think my favorite work of hers was the double-talking goose from "Charlotte's Web"!

What's scary is that many of these words could never be used in a game show today because everyone is so dumbed down. In fact, we can't even have word association shows. Say "ermine" to someone on the street and see what happens! Moorehead is a class act, as always.
