Kombucha Kronicle #3

#3 in my kontinuing series of Kombucha experimentation. In this episode I abandon my apple juice kombucha making ways and start my Continuous Brewing System. The time runs out before I get the scoby in, but you get the idea. More on one of the abandoned scobys next time maybe.

where can I buy one big jar like that?

I got mine at Cash and Carry. It was being sold as a 5 gallon pickle jar. If you are kombucha in it, just beware the scoby gets to be the size of the container just like usual. when I stopped doing mine, the scoby was almost 6-8 inches thick. Good luck.
