  • shut that fucking generator off!!!

  • Very instructional and helped a lot, but the fuzzy camera was a distraction.

  • wow ive been filleting/fishing since i was 13 although im only 18 and never knew about the wings of course will try it out nxt time im out thanks for the great tip

  • going out tomorrow, cripes i'm hungry as hell, we dont take the wings but i'm open to this technique, thanks for the vid.

  • It's nice to see someone teaching the proper method for cleaning a fish. I cringe every time I see someone just hack through the ribs and body cavity. That just wrecks your knife and makes a mess. And thanks for the tip about the fish "wings". I'm a fisherman and a chef and have never know about that wonderful little piece of meat until now.

  • Great video I will be doing it too the next

    walleye

  • @Mirx6000 yank's can't do it the way us CANADIAN'S can, i realized they can't spell, haha, nice video, that's the way to do it my friend!

  • yoda12145, i live in the states and it is spelled FILET/FILLET, Fellet is what your doing to the fish Filet is what your cutting off. sounds like FILL-LETT

  • best fillet ive ever seen. thumb up ;)

Yes it was a little dull as I had filletted more than I should have before resharpening. It is a custom made knife and I don't sharpen it myself. I get it sharpened at The Cutting Edge in Saskatoon, Sask, they do a terriffic job!!!! Being a 1000 KM from Saskatoon, and forgetting it up at camp, well you do the best. Usually I have it sharpened before each trip up to camp.
