That isn't a major difference, seen that Forza 1 came out in the same year as Gran Turismo 4. Forza 4 will have an entirely new engine. If that is your only argument to support your statement, It doesn't hold ground. At all.

Yet Forza still uses the same base from Forza 1. While GT5 was a completely new engine.

You can't compare the two. Forza 3 came out quite a while before GT5, and GT5 took 6 years to develop, Forza 3 only took 2.
