Bihu folk dance and music of India Assam performed in Jaipur

Bihu dance is the folk dance of Assam, India. Dhol (similar to drum) and a pipe instrument made of buffalo horn are the main musical instruments in Bihu dance of India, Assam. Bihu dance is a joyous dance with sweet music generally performed in Assam state of India by young men and women to express their joy on harvesting the crop.

Purpose of this video is to create awareness and to provide free education about Indian culture, society, traditions, dance and music in addition to preserve the Indian heritage and culture in modern era.
