A fine footballer, never ego driven. He's a testament to how far hard work can get you. One of the first Yanks to carve out a decent few years in the EPL. Not the most talented, nor the most technical of players, but he made it count every time he touched the ball.

McBride an over-rated player - a good player but that's it..lot's of better american players out there...just saying...

It's hard to tell by video highlights how good a forward is but McBride was strong and had good control. He could receive a ball that most forwards would be pushed off of right at the top of the box but bring it down and pass it off. Like a receiver claiming territory in American football--just boot it up to McBride and he'll gain possession for us 60 yards upfield. His is the only jersey special ordered with a player's name I've ever bought.
