  • @corkyfraud Kimbo Slice was a legendary street fighter but look what happened when he joined MMA. He got his ass handed to him. But he's a tough bare knuckle fister and he found out that Boxing suits him more and he's won all 4 pro Boxing matches. But Kimbo Slice would still destroy and rip the fuck out of any Wing Chun sifus. Boxing is just modernized version of bare knuckle fisting. Boxing is proven effective in MMA and Full Contact. It may not be the most ideal style but it works.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    Wing Chun sucks.

Most useless, ineffective martial art in the world.

Can't believe people still believe into this donkey shit and spend hundreds and thousands of dollars learning this ridiculous bullshit.

    I love this video.

It clearly debunks all their useless demonstrations and techniques. Not only Beneteau but so many average fighters have debunked it.

  • No shame losing to benetau he was a tough fighter in the early days. You know I still enjoy these Bullshido guys. Talking about "Effective" and "Real" martial arts, yet every video they post is under controlled rules with gloves and shin guards and what not. When these kids start releasing some Backyard, Bareknuckle, Kimbo slice style videos i will give them credit. Until then, they are just more wheels on a bandwagon.

  • @MacFlanahan Thank you for the attempt at defining the word "style". By that token I can swing my right cross twisted in a knot like a corkscrew and deem that a distinct style seperate from boxing. I call my new punching technique "smerg". Why? Because I felt like it. My preference as opposed to what my boxing coach showed me. Yea that sounds right. Puh-leez

  • @MacFlanahan Uh no. If anything MMA is an umbrella term for different organizations and their combat sports out there. Not a style. A MIX of martial styles. It has no new information, no distinctness, no unified techniques, nothing we have never seen before in other styles. It has no lineage other than someone coining the term "MMA". Styles are distinct from other styles, but there is little deviation within the style. MMA is not like that. It's all different per person.

  • @jamespohh MANY styles that currently exist have are mashups of earlier ones.

    No.

A style is just a preference for certain things over others.

Whether it's painting, or music, or martial arts.

  • @jamespohh Vale Tudo, Shooto, UFC, Pride,... these are all just locations (and sets of rules) by which one fights.

The 'Style' of fighting is MMA.

  • @MacFlanahan Go ask for a fight with him or anyone he's ever trained, and im sure you'll see it work. Also, the government asked HIM, not an MMA trainer to train there special forces. And if you've ever seen a chunner get beaten, its probably in the ring right? on the other fighters terms. Ive never seen it the other way round, on the chunners terms.

  • @MacFlanahan MMA competition is not even unique LOL. Japanese did it and called it "shooto". Yet Shooto is not a style. Vale Tudo existed for ages in Brazil but it's not a style ya dope. It's a type of sport competition that allows standing and ground techniques and so by definition anybody can throw anything together to remain competitive. I mean my God, if I threw together some basic Judo and wrestling and called it BJJ ppl will have my head LOL. Get real.

  • @MacFlanahan Exactly what? I've already listed a good number of them. All of them have evolved in their own right to be truly unique in their own right. MMA isn't a style, it's just a mashup of stuff any schlub can put together for the purposes of sport combat. It's called training in more than one style. There is nothing new about that as it has been done for ages. There are no new unique ideas or techniques to be found.
