@jonsparrow That's a good question :-) - the neighbo[u]rhood kids saw that Mythbusters episode about "Lifter" technology, and the apparent antigravity effect when you apply high voltage DC to a specially designed frame - so we thought we'd give it a try.

I had one from a computer monitor. I would light things and melt copper.

Kool !

I personally used the exact same circuit, and used the internal primary, with 12V, and I'm getting bigger arcs...
Check for other pins, normally the primary should have like 1 ohm resistance...

where do u learn how to use those stuff?

Lol, imagine if you trip over those wires and all that crap come crashing down on ya. D:

@shobley do you know if I could make an induction heater with this?

The PCB is very good. Our problems is that we can not homemade PCB's!

Just awesome again my man.
Maybe you've already discovered or been suggested this, but I've found to get better arcs, make your own primary (about 15 turns of wire on the exposed part of the core should do it), a good transistor to use is a mosfet with a low rds such as the IRFP260, and a power supply that can supply >20 volts at quite a few amps.

@CoolDudeClem Yes I read this a lot on the 4HV forum, one day I mean to give it a try...

I just listened to the soundtrack all the way through - sorry I sound so tired - it was like 12:30am when I recorded this.
I must get some sleep before shooting the videos :-)
