The new shocks arrived yesterday so I put them in and it makes a heck of a difference. I was originally going to put in the conversion kit to change them over from air shocks, but to save a few bucks I just put air shocks in it.

  • i have that same type of shock on my 86 park avenue. i ebelvied they called this air ride? where it pumps air to raise or lower the back when theres weight.

  • @randomrazr I think they called it something like that, I believe the technical term was electronic leveling control or something like that.

  • Did you have to replace the struts?

  • @Polymath95 Nope, this car only has struts in the front.

  • Nice, I would say it appears to be a night and day difference! I had a car like that, rear shocks completely gone, bounced at every stop light LOL!

  • @More350Power There fun to drive with bad shocks, for a while at least.

  • The 99 are struts ?

  • Ok I have a 1995 Buick Park Avenue and I just replaced that rear air struts on it and my air pump worked good before I replaced them and now it dont even run? At first it was a very rough ride and people said they will settle. They did settle but then my tires had a lean to them. We took the tire off and the bottom bolts were loose so we tightened them up. It was rough again and once it settled my tires had a lean to them once again! We didnt unplug the fuse? Do you think it blew?

  • hey I have a 2001 park avenue ultra i just put on the same shocks but my air compressor is not working and i dont know where to find the fuse for it at

  • I have installed air shocks on my 98 pa. I keep losing air. I use the manual air hoses cause my compressor is broken. I changed the line once already. I'm not sure if the shocks r bad or what. Please help!!!! My pa is sittn low!!!!

  • Finally got my 1993 LeSabre back up and running after a year and a half of arguing with my dad about what was wrong with. He wanted to replace the engine over replacing a $20 head cover gasket. Now the engine doesnt smoke like hell.

  • You have no idea how much you've helped me! I was a little hesitant to do this job myself but you've saved me a lot of money! I love all your videos! Keep doing your thing!

  • @bah53 Oh yea, and if you have shocks in the front, when those go........ and I mean completely blow out the whole way around, its not a good ride lol

  • my last truck ($70 2wd 87 f150) had toast front shocks i didnt have much money so i only put one new one in the front drove like that for a while then sold it for $700 (i only paid $70 for it and drove it for a year) then i save up and got a perfect 1990 f250 4wd for $1000
