Plecter vs Ifrit Prime (old)

Mnk Ifrit-solo Chi Blast-style 8/

My first Film ever using Vegas, Fraps and FFXI.
It's boring as hell, but I might aswell share xD

This was done as an experiment.
First off: whether or not I could kill Ifrit.
Second: If doing it using Chi-Blast'ing would increase my chance of survival.

The idea was that by chi-blasting I would give it far less TP. And giving it far less TP would make it use far less WS. WS's which in most cases are ignore-shadow fire-elemental-based.

This was my very first attempt on an avatar.
Some may think I'm wasting my time boosting up chi-blasts. But I think this proves that, if done correctly, can result in a win with 100% HP at the end.

Pfft, i was hoping you were gonna be meleeing on this video.

I'a a 75mnk/drk/blm on Cerberus, and i can practically solo him actual MELEEING, the only problem i have is countering Inferno. Next time ill take my Suzaku's Sune-Ate(for the +50 Fire)

Either solo him meleeing like a real MNK, or stfu.

You missed the point of this video.

It was to show that there are other ways a mnk can kill stuff. Killing stuff with your mind in a sence, instead of just using brute force.

I solo'ed it like a mnk/nin with Chi Blasts (moslty).

But if your definition is to solo it like a real MNK is to just punch away, then go MNK/WAR, that way you'll be the most MNK you can be. gl ^^b

I should try your way, maybe take my uber Elvaan Chi Blast to ifrit and see if its any good.
