James is right. The people pushing this stuff just never learn. There are better things we could be focusing on instead, like faster interplanetary travel, cheaper supersonic air travel, cheaper/faster networks (10Gb Ethernet for the price of 1Gb now, etc), free electricity for everyone, holographic displays (true "glasses free 3D"), hoverboards, Cyberlimbs that work just like the meat counterpart, CyberOptics with enhancements, CyberAudio similarly enhanced, etc, etc.
