I've always wondered... Why do they use production components (radios, etc.) in these tests? I know they want to test the vehicle under real world conditions, but on the frontal offset wouldn't a fake wadis (made to be the same weight, dimensions et al) be better? It wouldn't have to be scrapped. (PS, I'm not asking why they use production mechanical parts... Just electronics)

damn that would hurt, but the air bags will help a ton. You also have to remb that people dont flop around so easy like those dummies =D
