This guys is a really close-talker. Props to Tyson for not being weirded out. I guess it takes a lot to do that.

What was the guys' other questions? The way the guy stood so still, I thought that Neil scared him or something.

I'm going to NYC later this month and I can't wait to check out the Hayden planetarium
True that, whilst we remain confined to planet Earth all of our eggs are in one basket so to speak. Yet it's not the death of the sun that concerns me, nor our planet moving out of the habitable zone, both are distant events. But any number of disasters that could seal our fate. It's happened before, a mere 65 millions ago & could very well happen again. The only means to ensure the survival of our species is to advance our sciences and subsequently our technologies, to take to the stars. ;)

It is are obligation to go out & explore & further our knowledge in ourselves, science & the universe. If we weren't to go out in space then what are we doing? A whole bunch of nothing.Earth & the sun both have an expiration date so we have to go out into space if we want to find another home for human beings.
