Yeah, I definitely preferred fighting with swords and bows to playing with dolls. I actually made armor and little swords for my barbies.

As much as I loved my fashion dolls, my sister and I couldn't get enough of those swords. We called them "soft bats".

Ours were a little more plush like, and I don't know how they were made, but I mean it when I say whaping each other with them was the bestest everest.

That... is a really nice way to make a sword. I wish I knew about this when my friends and I were hitting each other with "swords" in college, it has to be a lot softer than what we were using.
