Jerry Foster fans should watch for a book about his life coming out in 2012. It's an amazing story - even beyond the news helicopter days!

That was fun to watch....I remember looking up to the "king of the wild blue sky" when I was little. Ive also heard folklore of Jerry making many similar rescues while at 3 and when he was flying 12....is that true? Oh and It looks like you just have videos of mountain rescues but you wouldnt happen to have anything else on Jerry Foster would you???

Yes, Jerry was what could be considered one of the pioneers of electronic news gathering (ENG). Back in the early days before law enforcement agencies had helicopters readily availible Jerry would assist the Maricopa County Sheriffs Office almost on a weekly basis with search and rescue.I'll check the other videos to see if there is more of him.
